Combat styles in RuneScape. Melee.

The Melee combat style is used by Warriors. And vice-versa - those who use the Melee combat style can be named warriors, as there are no classical classes in RuneScape.
Melee means that attacks are made from a close-range. This also means that warriors are able to absorb a lot of damage, heavily rely on their defense and armor that is the basic defensive means. Thus the warriors' armor usually use metal armor.
This style and / or class is very efficient in close-range encounters against the other 2 classes, as well the Melee style deals fairly well against ranged attacks.
On the other hand, the drawbacks are the inability to use magic at all, the necessity to come close for an effective attack, and higher energy dependency.
Depending on what skill / combination of skills is used primarily, the Melee combat style includes such sub-classes as tanks, tactitians aka warriors, and berserkers.
So, tanks are those who are trained in Defense (skill) so that they receive as little damage as possible which makes the subclass good against tough threats.
Berserkers are those who mainly train the Strength and Attack skills to be able to deal very much damage quickly. They are top damage dealers in the game.
Tacticians or warriors tend to equally use the following 3 skills - Strength, Attack, and Defence which makes them fairly well balanced and good in most combat situations and at all assignments.
Generally, the Melee style combat and respectively trained characters are fairly good and efficient in mini games in comparison with mages or rangers (as these may not have where to hide for survival during an activity now known as a minigame).
